Autoglym launches car care training courses

Car care brand Autoglym has launched a series of training courses for the professional cleaning of vehicles.

Its new professional process training course is a two-day programme covering interior and exterior cleaning techniques, including how best to wash wheels and wheel arches. It also covers paint protection and the application of treatment products. This course costs £300 and is aimed at independent garages, detailers, dealers and more.

Autoglym has also launched a machine polish training course teaching how to rectify common issues with cars as they are supplied from the factory, such as swirls or scratches in the clear-coat layer of paint. It costs £360.

The courses will be taught at Autoglym’s indoor training facility in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire.

“Our courses are structured to make a meaningful difference in how valeting businesses develop their staff, operate efficiently, and keep their customers happy,” said Laura Fippen, Autoglym Professional’s head of technical services.
