GSF adds Lucas parts to shelves in new partnership

GSF Car Parts has begun to stock Lucas starter motors and alternators, with further product lines to be added throughout the year.

Lucas is a renowned brand within the aftermarket, with a 140-year history that has seen it become a leading supplier of exclusively OEM remanufactured parts.

The range sold by GSF will cover more than 8700 SKUs, with coverage for 95% of the vehicle parc. This move, says GSF, gives it “an even more competitive lineup available from its near 200-strong branch network”.

Applications focus on passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles with an internal combustion engine, with modern drivetrains such as hybrid and stop/start systems also catered for.

GSF Car Parts senior category manager Hardik Solanki said: “The addition of Lucas adds greater depth to our rotating electrics offering. Not only does the range cover 95% of vehicles on the road, but it also allows us to bring in the trusted Lucas name to customers.

“This expanded range, alongside plenty of other activities in the first part of 2025, is a signal of intent from GSF to continuously improve our customer offering.”

Klaus Jensen, country manager and senior sales lead, at Lucas parent Borg Automotive Group, said: “We are excited to strengthen our partnership with GSF by adding the iconic Lucas brand to their impressive portfolio. This partnership has already demonstrated significant potential, and we are confident it will evolve into one of the most successful alliances in the UK aftermarket.”
