GSF Car Parts partners with Cleevely EV

GSF Car Parts has partnered with Cleevely EV to develop and market its growing EV range.

Cheltenham-based Cleevely EV, owned by Matt Cleevely, has pioneered the development of aftermarket repair solutions for EV vehicles over many years.

The partnership will see both parties collaborate on range development and product sourcing. Cleevely will also advise GSF trade customers on training and business development as many more look to future-proof their incomes streams. The range will also supplement GSF’s own Drivetec EV range for electric and electrified cars..

Al Preston, chief customer officer at GSF Car Parts, said: “Matt is the leading pioneer in this growing category; he seized the opportunity early to upskill and meet the growing demand for this type of work. We have been working with Matt for several months as we continually look to develop our offer and better serve our customers.

“As more EVs fall into the aftermarket, we are delighted to announce that Matt has now officially become part of GSF’s strategy and together look forward to developing a market-leading offer.

“We want to support Matt’s efforts to encourage and promote the benefits of EV training amongst his peers too. His persuasive presentations are highly respected for their transparency and insight.”

Dev Satpathy, chief customer officer at GSF Car Parts, said: “There are over 2 million ‘plug-in’ cars already registered in the UK and new sales of BEV vehicles represent almost 18% of all new cars sold in the UK this year. It is imperative that GSF and its customers are well-trained, ready, and supported.

“Matt has a unique line of sight as components fail and these vehicles drift out of their manufacturer warranties. With Matt’s insight and GSF’s buying power, we are confident that our EV range will be tough to beat in terms of breadth and value in the market.”

Matt Cleevely, Owner of Cleevely EV, said: “I’m delighted to be working with GSF in an official capacity – this partnership has been long in the making, and when I sat down and outlined my vision with GSF’s chairman, Sukhpal, it became clear there was an opportunity that would mutually benefit both parties.

“With GSF’s support in product sourcing, I can focus on growing my core business and helping other garage owners specialise and reap the rewards from EV.”
