Unipart makes £28.1m profit in record year

Unipart made a profit of more than £28 million last year, setting a new record for the logistics firm.

Those earnings were up some 30% compared with the nearly £22 million it made in 2023, and gave it more than £25 million in its cash reserves. The latter figure was up by £27 million year-on-year.

“We have delivered strong order book and revenue growth and significantly improved profitability, and made great progress in delivering our growth strategy and being a supply chain performance improvement partner for our customers,” said Unipart CEO Darren Leigh.

Leigh added that, in 2025, the company will look to expand its digital capabilities, majoring on artificial intelligence (AI), as well as making its operations more sustainable.
