The ‘Foto my Motor’ competition is heating up ahead of the winner being announced at the first ever AutoInsider Live interactive event this week.
The contest was a chance for apprentices right through to experienced technicians to feature vehicles they work on in their spare time or as a project, and the shortlist of nominees has been drawn up ahead of the announcement.
The list of vehicles worked on includes a Mark One Lotus Elan, Truimph TR6, Alfa Romeo Alfasud, Porsche 944 and 2004 Volkswagen Golf.
Annalize Davy, Marketing Manager at Andrew Page, said: “We had some surprising entries for this competition, and it was fascinating to see the wide range of cars that people are working on in their free time.”
“All of the finalists would be worthy winners for one reason or another and it will be exciting to see the winner announced on the 15th.”
Andrew Page’s AutoInsider event is its first attempt at creating an interactive show, with technical seminars, demonstrations and presentations for technicians to take part in throughout the day.
