Factory hardware to be put on sale

Vehicle seat manufacturer TS Tech UK has closed its UK factory in Swindon as its largest customer, Honda, has shut down UK production.

Gordon Brothers, a restructuring and investment firm, has been appointed as sole asset selling agent for car seat manufacturer. The firm is offering the assets for sale by way of private treaty sale and an online auction sale in October 2021.

The assets for sale will feature many specialist automotive seat manufacturing equipment and machinery including 19 robotic MIG welding cells, spin rivet machines, tube bending system, chemical foam injection, maintenance equipment and compressors.

“Following the appointment of Gordon Brothers as the exclusive selling agent for machinery and equipment at Honda’s Swindon plant, it was a natural next step to appoint them to manage the asset sale for TS Tech’s Swindon site,” said Jeremy Baskott, Division Manager at TS Tech. “The team’s experience and professionalism has been clear from the start and we are confident that they will efficiently manage the project to its best outcome.”

A full list of equipment on sale can be found on the Gordon Brothers’ website.
