SUPPLIER UPDATE: DON BRAKING IN AT SPARTAN

TMD Friction’s aftermarket brake brand, Don, has expanded its passenger car distribution network with the addition of a new stockist, Spartan Motor Factors.

Based in Wales and the south west, Spartan Motor Factors has 13 sites, with two more depots due to open in 2021. It was bought out of administration in March 2020 by Tetrosyl’s holding company, MWR Sales Ltd, which also controls MotorMania, Motor World and Spares World.

Lee Gratton, general manager at Spartan Motor Factors, said: “We have been working with TMD Friction to stock its premium brake brand Textar, which has really helped to elevate our position within the marketplace and increase our sales. As a result of the success we have had from stocking Textar, we have chosen to also stock TMD Friction’s Don brand as our mid-tier brake brand.
