Fault symptoms: No friction locking or hard shifting of gears between 2nd and 3rd gear Transmission runs in limp-home mode
Error code(s): P0894, P2502, P2505, P2711
Causes: K1 piston in the transmission damaged.
Remedy: Repair transmission. Replace multi-plate clutch. Recode the transmission control unit.

Battery discharged

Mercedes-Benz C-Class C200 CDI

Fault symptoms: Cooler fan switches on although the ignition has been switched off for longer than 30 minutes. Radiator fan switches to emergency running mode during travel.
(Error message in the instrument cluster) Battery discharged
Causes: Moisture in the radiator fan
Remedy: Replace engine-cooling fan Replace radiator fan if model from BROSE/TEMIC has been installed.

Leak

Fault symptoms: Leakage occurs between automatic transmission and transfer case.
Causes: Sealant
Remedy: Apply new sealing compound. (Only in case of drop formation in the joint region)
