Under normal conditions, the correct specification for a replacement battery should be in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. However, many Range Rovers are heavily modified to improve still further their already legendary off road performance. As a result, vehicles fitted with additional electrical equipment, such as winches and auxiliary lighting, will need an uprated battery to cope with the extra load, the capacity of which needs to be carefully considered.
