MOOG BRAND TO BE RELAUNCED BY FEDERAL MOGUL

Federal Mogul is relaunching its MOOG brand in the UK, thanks to a new distribution agreement with the RAPID group.

The steering and suspension range will be relaunched from April, with nationwide coverage being achieved by the RAPID group, which includes factor chains such as General Traffic, Car Spares and NPA Motor Factors.

Federal Mogul says the MOOG range is engineered to a “fit and forget” model – designed to reduce installation time for workshops, saving labour costs as well as time.

RAPID group chairman Robin Parker said: “Workshops across the country will now be able to order MOOG suspension and steering products from the RAPID group distribution network.

“Through our experience of working with Federal-Mogul, with their braking and wiper ranges, we know it is a company we can trust to provide products up to our high standards. And as MOOG products come with a two-year warranty, our customers can be confident too.”

MOOG’s offering at launch will include over 5000 different part numbers covering more than 96 percent of the European car parc. RAPID will supply all MOOG components including wishbones, steering stabilizers and control arms.
