  1. Where will we be in five years? That largely depends on the independent garages investing in training. Fault diagnosis can be a nightmare now, Lord knows what it will be like in 5 years. We see more and more garages attempting to return electrical units where they’ve “tried” the unit, failed to fix the problem and then returned it. Go to a main dealer and attempt to return an electrical part, you’ll get told politely to “go away”. The independent aftermarket should follow suit and not bow down to the customer every time.
