ICE sales made easy with Progressive technology

PROGICESelling car accessories could be made a good deal easier with the launch of a new online product search tool.

Developed by distributor ProgressiveICE, it is designed to remove barriers to sale such as car identification and product selection.

It combines vehicle registration look-up with a database of vehicle manufacturer specification data to make product selection as easy as possible.

The tool can be embedded into any website or retail kiosk to blend seamlessly with a retailer’s existing own-branded system.

Product sets can be predetermined by the retailer and the company also offers an installation service via a network of engineers.

You can try out the system on Progressive’s website using the following tests or any UK vehicle registration and product from the distributor’s database:

  1. Dension iPod interface for vehicle registration AG08CZR
The challenge here is that the product is dependent upon both the car radio and instrument cluster.
  2. Vizualogic DVD headrest for vehicle registration VX05UJY
This challenge is that the product is dependent upon both the vehicle trim and seat type.

The company is currently rolling out the system across the UK and in 2010 plans to expand its network into mainland Europe.
