Midlands’ entrepreneur launches new garage venture

by

Kam-Saleem_MotorServ-UKMidlands’ entrepreneur Kam Saleem has launched a new business venture called MotorServ UK, with two garages opening in Solihull and Coventry.

The former iAuto UK franchisee has rebranded his facility in Solihull and taken over the branch in Coventry to launch his own independent car and van servicing outlet for all makes and models.

MotorServ-UK has created 14 new jobs across both sites and joined Unipart’s Car Care Centre network.

Saleem, who also runs a chauffeuring business and is a Director for a Birmingham-based accountancy and asset finance firm, has billed his latest venture as a fresh alternative to the region’s franchised dealerships.

He says: “Getting to run my own businesses has been an amazing and often difficult journey and I’m looking forward to the challenge of growing MotorServ-UK into a respected brand. It’s a highly competitive market but I will serve the local community to the best of my ability.”
