Universal accelerates portfolio expansion with motorsport brands

vodafone jacketUniversal Automotive has now finalised its distribution agreement with Brand&, the licensing partner for some of the world’s biggest motorsport teams.

The deal, first revealed in the September issue of CAT mag, will allow Universal to supply the UK aftermarket with clothing and accessories bearing branding from teams including Aston Martin Racing, AT&T Williams and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes.

Universal’s sales director, John Goodland, said the agreement strengthens the company’s strategy to supply a wide range of service items.

He said: “By bringing in a premium range of promotional clothing, we can cater for another important part of a factor’s business.

“Whether sold as a retail range supplied across the counter or as promotional range used as a sales incentive, Brand& is a top draw – and unique – offering to the aftermarket.”
