TRICO GROUP RENAMES AS FIRST BRANDS GROUP

Trico Group has renamed as First Brands Group.

The news follows Trico Group’s July acquisition of several aftermarket properties in the U.S. These include Brake Parts Inc. and Champion Laboratories.

Brake Parts Inc. is best known in the U.S for it’s Raybestos brand and Champion Laboratories for it’s Luberfiner filter range.

Vice President and General Manager of First Brands Group, Eduardo Sanz wanted to reassure customers on this side of the Atlantic: “In Europe, business continues as usual and our existing Airtex, Trico, and Champion products remain available through our dedicated customer services and sales teams. Of course, the acquisition of these further brands opens up exciting potential opportunities to deliver even more market leading products into the European aftermarket” he said.
