‘NATIONAL MECHANICS MONTH’ LAUNCHED BY OIL BRAND

A lubricant brand has launched a campaign to celebrate independent vehicle workshops and technicians across the UK.

The event, organised by Castrol,  will see  motorists in the UK invited to nominate their favourite local tech or workshop, to give them the credit they deserve and help raise their profile. Press blurb from the firm read: “The initiative will celebrate the skills and commitment of local mechanics and those workshops that keep communities moving – something that has proved particularly challenging during the pandemic”.

Consumers can win prizes for making a nomination, and the winning technicians will get a money-can’t-buy prize, including a virtual F1 experience. Independent workshop owners or mechanics can also nominate their workshop, or one of their colleagues, to make sure they are recognised for their incredible work.

Nominations are open now at: www.castrol.co.uk/moving-NMM.
