CHAIN GROWS TO 149 BRANCHES AS MPD OPENS IN WREXHAM

Factor chain Motor Parts Direct has opened a new branch in Wrexham, north Wales.

The depot is approximately 8,000 sq ft in size and has an additional bulk storage space at the side.

Wrexham’s Branch Manager is Alex Billingham and he is assisted by Llewelyn Jones. The opening brings MPD’s network to 149 branches across England and Wales.

Earlier in the year, the chain opened a branch in Hartlepool, its second most northernly branch. The openings go some way to reaching founder Mukesh Shah’s business goals. “Our vision is to have 200 branches and sales revenues of £200m by 2025” he said at a conference in 2019.
