FUEL RUSH CANCELS BOOK LAUNCH

A training event in Bridgend this weekend has been cancelled due to the ongoing rush on petrol stations around the UK.

Tom Denton and Hayley Pells’ event has been postponed

The event, planned to coincide with, and to support the publication of a technical book authored by industry experts Tom Denton and Hayley Pells, had been scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

A statement from the duo said: “We hope normal supply will resume by the time the event was originally scheduled, but those who organise will understand that point will not be the end of the disruption. There will be many long hours to make good the losses that are currently being accumulated. Not wishing to cause any further administrative burden to our sector was the right decision given the circumstances, the automotive industry is once again rising magnificently to unpredictable challenges”.

“So the fizzy wine is on ice, we will get back to the tools of our trade and will celebrate another day – we hope you’ll be able to join us”.
