People news: Kevin Roberts joins Banner as BDM

Banner Batteries has appointed Kevin Roberts as Business Development Manager in northern England and Scotland.

Reporting directly to Country Manager, Lee Quinney, Roberts will be responsible for targeting Banner’s diverse and growing customer base of motor factors, garages, independent distributors and other specialist automotive parts outlets.

Roberts has previously held positions at Ecobat Technologies, CES UK and Euro Car Parts.

Prior to moving into the automotive industry, Kevin worked in the financial, life assurance and mortgage sector and is CeMAP qualified, whilst holding Financial Planning Certificates at Level 1, 2 and 3.

Commenting on Kevin’s appointment, Lee Quinney said: “The whole team at Banner is delighted to welcome Kevin into the fold. He has a proven track record in the automotive aftermarket and we are confident this will prove instrumental in strengthening Banner’s position across Scotland and the north, both of which are important strategic territories. Supplying a first class service to our customer base remains one of our main priorities, together with promoting Banner’s original equipment pedigree, and Kevin will help spearhead this moving forwards.”
