LKQ Euro Car Parts launches unlimited mileage warranty

LKQ Euro Car Parts has launched an industry leading unlimited mileage warranty across its range of steering and suspension products.

The new guarantee will be implemented across its in-house Starline and Optimal brands, as well as brands like Sachs, Monroe and Bilstein.

The unlimited mileage warranty sits alongside the existing manufacturer warranty, removing mileage restrictions that are typically considered an industry standard, the brand said.

Colin Cottrell, LKQ Euro Car Parts marketing director, said: “If a customer drives away feeling confident about the quality, performance and longevity of their new parts, then they’re more likely to come back to a garage with repeat business.

“That’s where our focus on providing quality products and robust guarantees is so important. Our unlimited mileage warranty is a first in the steering and suspension category, and aims to help garages give their customers the added value of greater peace of mind.

“It’s always worth explaining the different options available to drivers so they feel engaged and able to make decisions about their vehicle, with the support of a knowledgeable technician they can trust”

Other key developments on the Starline range of steering and suspension products include the extension of the existing manufacturer warranty from three years to four, and the introduction of a complete and ready-to-fit coil suspension strut assembly – a market-first that will improve driver safety while helping garages save labour time and costs.

The completed coil strut means there’s no need for workshops to use a spring compressor and create unnecessary safety concerns that may arise from a damaged top mount bearing or a worn shock absorber failing while changing the coil spring.
