Components supplier LuK, best known for supplying clutches, INA tensioners and FAG wheel bearings to the UK aftermarket, is changing its name.

As of the next month the company will be known as Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd.

The company has said that despite the name change, terms and conditions through which the company trades with UK customers won’t be affected.

In the past few months the company has strengthened itself in the digital realm, gaining backing and support through the RepXpert website.

Nigel Morgan, UK managing director said: “This name brings us in line with all other group locations and better reflects the business that we transact today.”
