KYB earns Group Auto award

KYB, a worldwide manufacturer of shock absorbers, has been awarded the Group Auto award for sales supplier of the year.

The awards ceremony, which took place in Barcelona at the Group Auto annual conference, included for awards categories. Those categories were designed to showcase the best and brightest of Group Auto talent, recognising those who had the best impact on the company over the past year.

The categories for this year’s awards were overall, logistics, marketing and sales. KYB Europe won the sales award, due to having the largest sales increase across Group Auto in 2010.

KYB is the world’s largest supplier of shock absorbers, with one in every four cars produced rolling off the production line with the company’s shocks fitted as OE standard.

75 million shock absorbers are manufactured every year by KYB, coming from it’s 15 worldwide production facilities.

Hajime Sato, President of KYB Europe said: “We are delighted to again be presented with an award by Group Auto International – one of our close working partners. We aim to provide all our customers with world-class products and service, and it is appreciated to be recognised in this way.”
