Tetrosyl came close to winning a second award

Tetrosyl have added another award to its already 2011 lineup, bagging the Business of the Year award at the Bolton and Bury Business Awards.

Over 500 members of the business community in the area came to the even, held at the Reebok Stadium.

The awards were presented to companies and businesses who had shown outstanding business achievement in the past year.

Tetrosyl, which is based in Bury, Lancashire, is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of car care products in the UK. The company specialises in providing valeting materials, oils and lubricants, and care parts both for the trade and commercial markets.

The company has an annual turnover of over £100 million.

Peter Schofield, chairman of Tetrosyl commented: “To be recognised by the Bolton and Bury Business Awards is a truly fantastic feeling, and especially superb for all our staff who work extremely hard. It is nice to have recognition for all the hard work we put into Tetrosyl. We have continued to invest through the recession and all our profits go back in to manufacturing.”

Tetrosyl narrowly missed out on getting another award for being “International Business of the Year,” ending the event as runners up instead.
