A1 continues to profit from clutch sales

Picture 1A1 Motor Factor stores are continuing to profit from selling clutches from well-known brands Universal/Veco and ACDelco.

Universal clutches are tailored to OE standards, something that more and more garages are specifying when ordering parts. A1 says that using an OE clutch gives their customers both assurance and confidence in fitting.

The European sourced Veco clutch programme has recently released a new catalogue with 1350 references, as well as full IT support and warranty scheme.

Dave Greenwood, business development manager at Universal Automotive said: “We are delighted to work closely with A1 and we strongly believe that by offering quality, competitive prices, low carriage rates and top services we will strengthen this relationship over the years ahead.”

Similarly, ACDelco has enjoyed a strong growth pattern in recent years with A1. The ACDelco clutch programme gives the EU car parc access to 900 clutch kits covering a whole host of VAs, including Ford, Mercedes Benz and Peugeot models.

John Murray, product manager for A1 believes that getting parts from the strongest players gives customers the best confidence in the product. He said: “We continue to partner with the best brands and develop product propositions to align the needs of our customers.”
