Truck and Trailer Components is opening new business in Australia.

Current Head of Marketing Darren Miller will be moving to the warmer climate to head up the new operation, which will be based in Sydney.

The move is set to take place in September, with TTC confirming it will be looking to partner with key brands and suppliers already established in the country.

Miller commented: “This is an exciting opportunity that we have invested a lot of time and finance into. We already have a market presence there with a number of other Unipart Divisions, including Unipart Logistics and Unipart Rail.

This provides our commercial vehicle division with a distinct advantage of having the warehousing, office facilities and infrastructure already in place.”

The move comes at the end of a month of change for Unipart, with Mark Dixon taking the reigns of the automotive business as it moves to Bicester.
