More investment for the Parts Alliance from HgCapital has been announced, as GMF becomes the latest member to benefit.

HgCapital has already invested substantial sums into fellow Parts Alliance members CES, SC Motor Factors and Allparts. GMF says it will use the investment to accelerate the growth of its branch network and further strengthen its position in the market.

Former shareholder Directors Adrian and Ian McNally reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the Parts Alliance, saying: “The GMF journey has been a fantastic one so far, with the company trebling in size over the past seven to eight years, and with the investment in from HgCapital there’s no reason why this cannot be achieved again.”

Some changes are afoot for GMF, as current Managers Steve Davies and Wyn Jones become Board Directors, and Charles Jonathan takes up the role of Managing Director.
