Buying group Groupauto is looking to provide garages linked with the Unipart Car Care Centre network a lifeline.
It aims to give those independent garages, which have been left in the dark after the recent demise of Unipart Automotive, another option and encouraging them to secure their future by becoming either a part of the Autocare or Approved Garages network

Emergency steering assistance put to the test by TRW
Another collision prevention system has been put to test by TRW at Hockenheim race track. The steering and suspension manufacturer teamed up with the University of Dortmund, Germany, to develop a system to aid drivers in emergency situations called Emergency Steering Assist (ESA)
Next gen tyre technicians given chance to shine at fast-fit
A group of automotive apprentices are being steered in the right direction by National Tyres and Bridgestone.
The apprenticeship run by the 225-strong tyre fast fit network, will see 18 students take part in its NVQ level 2 training course, first started in 2013
