FOURTH AND TECALLIANCE CONSOLIDATE SUPPORT SERVICES

Mark Rudge, PACT Director

Software publishers Fourth and TecAlliance have consolidated sales and support services for their eparts and Order Manager products in UK and Ireland. Order Manager was previously known as TecCom.

In 2007, the TecCom and eparts services were linked under a joint marketing initiative called PACT. Its aim was to facilitate effective electronic trading between suppliers and parts distributors throughout the UK and Ireland. The initiative has successfully connected 2,500 motor factor locations with over 100 leading UK suppliers and works in partnership with all major buying groups and independent distributors.

Changes to the original PACT agreement now sees Mark Rudge head up operations in the UK as a sole, central point of contact. Managing sales and service delivery for both Order Manager and eparts, the simplified structure now means just one point of contact is required.

Rudge will be supported by the existing UK team of Andy Newton and Omar Faruq and will be linked in to both organisations (Fourth and TecAlliance). He said: “This is an exciting development in our relationship, which is set bring a marked improvement to the effectiveness of our support and service delivery capability for all PACT-enabled users and partners. Our dedicated UK-based support team will own, escalate and manage all PACT related Support cases, from creation to resolution.”
