NYANZA AUTOPARTS ACQUIRED BY ALLIANCE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP

Coventry-based Nyanza Autoparts has been acquired by Alliance Automotive UK.

Coventry factor becomes part of Alliance Automotive UK

Described as ‘one of Coventry’s oldest car parts and accessory suppliers’,  Nyanza was formed in the 1980s by the Raichura family and expanded following the acquisition of Abbey Motor Spares.  The buildings of another former factor, Clutch, Brake and Autospares, were acquired after the Finelist collapse, giving Nyanza a large, modern base to work out of.

Companies House filings show that Alliance Automotive UK were ‘persons with significant control’ from June 4th. Just one week earlier, the chain acquired Havant-based Westleigh Motor Factors

Nyanza was shortlisted for CAT’s Motor Factor of the Year Award in 2014.
