Equipauto underway in Paris

Entrance to EquipAuto 2022

The EquipAuto show is currently underway in Paris.

For the first time the show has been held in a year that both Automechanika Frankfurt and Autopromotec in Bologna have also taken place. As a result, a slightly smaller EquipAuto has been tied in with the Paris Motor Show (Mondial des Auto), creating Paris Automotive Week.  The event organisers are also holding a series of French regional shows, with the next to be held in Lyon in September 2023.

Around 1,000 exhibitors including Brembo, Aisin, AAG and Bilstein are exhibiting.

Sideshows at the event include the ‘Gold Medal for Product Innovation’, on which a number of new products are voted on in different categories, while the ‘Garage of the Future’ exhibition focussed on the industry’s transition to electric and alternative fuels.

The organisers of Automechanika Frankfurt and Autopromotec recently agreed to arrange their respective shows on dates that do not clash with each other. However, EquipAuto appears to not hae ben involved in these discussions.
