Can you beat CAT to Automechanika?

We must admit that in terms of productivity today has got off to a bad start.

We should be putting your favourite magazine together – when instead we’ve been playing this:

Automechanika's racing game
Automechanika's racing game

That’s a game designed by the promoters of Automechanika to induce some healthy competition before the show. You take control of a battered, broken, beige prototype that must be driven to the aftermarket show in Frankfurt.

Along the way you’ll visit a workshop, car wash, paint sprayers and tuning house to get the car in showroom condition – all the while avoiding obstacles like runaway trains and oil spills, of course.

Never mind that the game is mostly in German (there is an English option), just click ‘spielen’ and see if you can beat CAT to the finish. We’re currently in 11th.

You can play the game here.
