A first year success story for Exmouth HiQ

An Exmouth entrepreneur has proven that despite the recent economic trouble, business can still boom.

Martin Price, along with business partner Mike Pickering, started out 12 months ago when they opened a HiQ fast fit centre on St Andrews Road in Exmouth.

They had high aspirations of extending their new franchise to three centres.

Now one year on, and that dream is starting to become a reality. Price believes that his HiQ foundations have given him enough of a boost to start expanding.

He said that throughout the year he has been supported by a loyal customer base from the local area.

HiQ recently launched a new retail calendar offering customers a money-saving MOT. It was this offer that he believes helped to bring in the clients.

He said: “As much as it’s about skill, hard work and honesty, we have built our reputation on positive word of mouth and I think we have established ourselves well within the area. We hope we can replicate this for years to come.”
