Autosafe seeks new garages after boosting fleet business

Autosafe is seeking new independent garage partners after boosting its fleet business by 530 per cent over the last 12 months

The vehicle service and repair network, which is operated by the IFA buying group, has benefited from the increasing number of fleet managers turning to independent garages to reduce costs.

Autosafe refers fleet business into its member garages via the 1link service, providing fleets with a single point of contact for booking and invoicing.

The group is hoping to secure additional fleet work by encouraging its 400-strong network to put technicians through the Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) scheme.

It has also recently committed its support to the Motor Codes Code of Practice for Service and Repair.

Recent recruits to Autosafe include Westerleigh Car Centre in Bristol, which has invested around £750K in new equipment and a new site, and has recently secured the BSI Kitemark.

Riverside-Revilo in Stockport and GB England in Aberdeen, have also joined the network.
