BRT Group has partnered up with TecDoc to help drive new growth for the bearings specialist.

TecDoc says the BRT Group’s decision to use its systems is a sign that more parts suppliers are increasingly turning to using bespoke software suites. The software supplier now has more than 450 replacement parts brands represented on its data system, covering more than 45,000 applications for passenger cars alone.

The BRT Group says it wants to use the increased exposure on TecDoc to help drive new export growth. The company’s Charlotte Merrell said: “We know it’s an area we can develop and one which can make a significant contribution to the continued growth of the group. However, we are realistic enough to know that without having our products on TecDoc, we won’t achieve anywhere near our true export potential.”

BRT says it is currently working with TecDoc to get all of its information incorporated into the system, and should be available to view on the TecDoc catalogue from the beginning of April.

TecDoc’s Shaun Greasley said: “We are obviously delighted to welcome BRT to the TecDoc data supply family and endorse their comments regarding the business benefits that can be achieved in their home market.”
