The winners of the CAT Awards 2013 have been revealed at a glittering ceremony in Twickenham.
168 members of the independent automotive aftermarket came together to see which businesses and people had triumphed in what has been the biggest ever CAT Awards. The ceremony and prizegiving was held at the iconic Twickenham Rugby Stadium, near to CAT’s offices in Teddington.
A pre-event networking session allowed many of the award nominees to meet for the first time and mix with other members of the aftermarket. CAT was also pleased to welcome Dr. Vince Cable to the event, who delivered an opening speech which praised the role of the aftermarket in the wider motor trade. An industry panel lead by CAT Editor Peter Lawton and including GSF’s Richard Swann, Mike Owen, Motaquip’s Peter Cox and Peter Cottle from industry charity BEN discussed some of the issues affecting the aftermarket. More on their thoughts in this month’s CAT.
After lunch the awards were announced, with the winners in each category revealed below.
…..and Delivery Driver of the Year award too!
How about next year something a little lower down the food chain.
“Partsman (or woman) of the year!”
