Claire Luti, an Xpart and MG Motor UK authorised repair technician, has been awarded the ‘MG TF personal technician award’ for her expert knowledge.
Having completed two years training at MG Motor UK’s Cecil Kimber College, Luti is one of the first technicians in the country to be recognised in all areas of the TF model.
“In the past two years I’ve learned all the technical details of the new MG TFs, and have also developed a strong understanding of the car’s electronicsâ€, she said.
With the new status, Luti is considered the best person for TF technical advice in the MG dealer network.
And her thorough knowledge is also being used to prepare her brother, Paul Luti’s, MG TF LE 500 for competition in the MG Trophy Championship series.
She said: “I was always surrounded by MG enthusiasts growing up, including my father and brother, and was keen to understand how the cars worked.
“I really enjoy mastering the ‘ins and outs’ of road and race cars and getting to grips with complex electronics. I’m a big fan of MG cars and have built up plenty of experience servicing MGs since completing my Modern Apprenticeship at Longbridge 10 years ago.â€
