Diagnostics training offered for IGA members

by

Following the success of its Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Awareness course, the Independent Garage Association has launched the second in its suite of on-site training courses – Diagnostics.014150200_1237975856

The half-day session will be delivered to IGA members at no cost as a membership benefit – training up to three staff on any course.

Stuart James, IGA Director, said: “The take-up for the hybrid course proved that independent garages want to invest in training their technicians.  Our delivery model allows technicians to learn in the workplace using kit and vehicles they are familiar with.”

The course teaches the principles of diagnostics and will ensure that every independent garage has an opportunity to develop their staff to think about the diagnostic steps needed to successfully identify, and subsequently fix, faults on complex modern vehicles.

James continued: “There are many garages out there that are not using their diagnostic equipment to its full potential. This course is flexible enough to deliver a real benefit to the independent garages whatever the current skill set of the technicians.”
