ECP goes for platinum with new lighting range

Euro Car Parts launched a new range of automotive lighting to the aftermarket.

The Platinum Plus product line was unveiled for the first time at Thatcham’s Repair Focus event, at The ABP Club on June 12.

The new line of lighting products currently consists of 40 products ranging from headlamps, fog lamps and rear lights all certified by Thatcham/TÜV.

ECP hopes this accreditation will reassure bodyshops that the product is not only easy to fit, but also functions correctly, and has the right beam pattern as the original equipment part.

Richard Taylor, Head of Collision Repair Relations at ECP, said: “Our objective for the Platinum Plus lighting brand was to ensure it went through the process of being test fitted and aligned with the Thatcham Accreditation Programme before launching the range to repairers.

“By partnering with Thatcham, we are ensuring that the key element of PAS125 has been met, where it clearly states that the part has to perform equivalent to the original part.”
