Euro Car Parts has had a busy start to the year with the launch of 12 new branches…all in a single day.

The new sites, located in Abergele, Banbury, Burnley, Crewe, Eastbourne, Hereford. Kettering, King’s Lynn, Melksham, Morecambe, Rotherham and Truro takes the total number of ECP branches up to 132.

All of the new additions are open for business, having officially joined the network on January 2nd.

ECP Managing Director Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia said: “While others shut up shop over the festive period Euro Car Parts was busy putting the finishing touches to 12 new branches.

“We have opened over 40 state-of-the-art new branches in the last 12 months and every one brings us closer to our customers. It means we can deliver more quickly to more garages.”

The company has also launched its own garage management system, Autowork. Billed as having access to 130,000 part numbers and advanced features like VRM lookup and parts imaging data, the system has been developed alongside MAM.

To show off the suite ECP has created several video tutorials explaining how to get the most from the system. Those videos can be found here.

Autowork is by no means the only garage management solution to be launched this month. Autoparts announced its own web based offering just days ago, while similar systems from the likes of Andrew Page, The Parts Alliance and Groupauto are also available.

As vehicle data becomes more specific any system that helps a garage gather the right details for the job, as well as helping them to run their business will be a welcome helping hand.
