ECP PARENT ACQUIRES MORE DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES

NEW-LKQ-HD-Logo_300pxLKQ Corporation, the parent firm of Euro Car Parts has announced that it has completed agreements in principle to acquire five Netherlands parts distribution companies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed

The companies acquired were Rijsbergen Holding B.V., Pala Holding, B.V., Primaparts Automaterialen B.V., BOAC Automotive B.V. and VEAM B.V all of which were customers and distributors for LKQ’s Netherlands subsidiary, Sator Holding B.V

“This acquisition further strengthens our distribution network in the Netherlands and demonstrates LKQ’s commitment to our European strategy,” stated Robert L. Wagman, President and Chief Executive Officer of LKQ Corporation.

The move follows LKQ’s expansion into mainland Europe, which started with 2013’s merger with Sator Holding B.V.
