Fuel Parts UK moves to MAM

fuel_parts_logo_1_largeThe MAM Autocat+ parts catalogue will soon be expanding to incorporate Fuel Parts UK.

The fuel and emissions components supplier has announced it will be using MAM Software’s Automate suite to publish its data directly to the Autocat+ catalogue.

MAM’s software will also allow Fuel Parts UK to publish more product updates and perform instant data amendments.

MAM’s Automate software is a suite of products on offer to the automotive industry, allowing them to maintain their own product data but also publish it to aftermarket customers through the Autocat+ parts catalogue.

Fuel Parts UK has enjoyed an aggressive expansion programme over the past few months which has seen several new product lines and references being added to the company’s repertoire.

Neil Morgan, operations director at Fuel Parts UK, said: “Fuel Parts have spent many years developing a very accurate and up-to-date online catalogue, which is currently supported by individual hard-copy catalogues.

“However, MAM’s Autocat+ catalogue is widely used throughout the industry and with this in mind, the decision was taken to streamline the integration of our catalogue information. Automate will enable us to mirror our online data to Autocat+, providing users with an alternative means of accessing the latest information.”

Ian Penny, from MAM software says more companies are recognising the importance of publishing their parts data online. “Keeping product data up-to-date reduces errors and helps achieve first time fit. We are pleased that Automate will play a significant role in helping Fuel Parts support its ‘right first time’ attitude,” he said.
