While UK garages and body shops aren’t best known for embracing the digital frontier, they may soon reconsider with the help of a free online seminar.

The “webinar,” taking place on 5th July, is run by Dave Dickinson, an entrepreneur from the US with a history of helping American business to turn a profit.

Dickinson will present advice; tips of the trade, and suggestions for helping garages make the most of business. Dickinson started his own repair business in the US in 1998, which grew quickly into a chain of 21 repair shops.

The webinar is being held to celebrate the launch of MotorRepairMarketing.com, a new website which offers marketing resources specifically aimed at the motor trade. With so many garages still relying on word of mouth and printed adverts to spread word of their business, many will be grateful for this introduction into online marketing.
