Sogefi appoints aftermarket heavyweight to boost market share

Andrea Taschini has been appointed general manager of Sogefi’s new Aftermarket Filter Division in a move that signals the company’s intent to take a bigger share of the market.

Taschini, who has held senior aftermarket positions at companies including Brembo and Bosch, will have full responsibility for Sogefi’s worldwide IAM business, including the implementation of the new Aftermarket Filter Division organisation.

He will place particular emphasis on enhancing the company’s logistics network as well as looking at the aftermarket growth strategy.

Explaining, Marko Wowcyzna, sales and marketing director said: “Sogefi has earned and sustained its market leadership by ensuring we are always firmly focused on filtration excellence, both at OE level and to our aftermarket customers.

“But the aftermarket is a huge and growing part of our business, and as such it is vital that we evolve our company culture and structure.

“The appointment of our new Aftermarket Filter Division General Manager is tangible proof that [we are] becoming even more focused, flexible and accessible for our aftermarket customers.”
