The second annual Motor Codes report shows that independent garages are continuing to shine with the quality of its repairs and customer service.
For the second year running the independent workshops continued its exceptional performance by accruing an aggregate score of 98 percent for both the work they carry out and the way they deal with customers.
The Motor Codes report shows t the number of responses regarding servicing work rose to almost 54,000 up significantly (39,528) on 2012, and despite a rise in the volume of responses for independent garages, it only represented 31 percent of the total number of responses received.
The purpose of the survey was to grab a snapshot of the opinion of motorists regarding the UK motor industry, and the results have further backed up Motor Codes claims of offering a complete package to motorists and trade.
Motor Codes Managing Director Chris Mason, said: “For satisfaction levels to remain so high across a customer base of this size tells people tells people they can choose a garage with confidence, wherever they see the Motor Codes tick.
“We now have the complete package: a means of people sourcing a professional, reliable business and a proven, robust consumer protection mechanism.
“That is what the Government tasked us to achieve back in 2008. In 2013, Motor Codes progressed to the next level, driving business to subscribers.”
