It’s simply not enough to feed your little darlings with organic food anymore. Nope, these days discerning parents are taking child care to a whole new level.

At least that’s the hope of Orbit Baby, an American company specialising in ‘child travel systems’.

Its latest product is a car seat made from organic fabric, which it says doesn’t contain harsh chemicals and is kinder to children’s skin.

And it hasn’t stopped there, designing a whole range of Green Edition accessories, including footmuffs (which it claims are the only organic footmuffs on the market) and slip-on natural upholsteries for standard car seats.

The car seats and accessories are flame retardent with fabrics and foam certified to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

“Our first priority is always the safety and well-being of children, but we also try to eliminate the use of chemicals that harm the environment and pose unknown risks to children,” said Orbit Baby CEO and co-founder Joseph Hei.

The organic products are currently making their debut at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas.
