Kitemark.com, which operates a national chain of garages and bodyshops, is celebrating a massive increase in page visitors following a recent rejuvenation of its website.

The company says that the 41,000 yearly visitors the site was getting has now tripled to 130,000 following the facelift. The new website includes several new features, allowing customers to quickly find the closest Kitemark garage.

Garages that hold a Kitemark license are being urged to customise their company page, making it even easier for customers to get in touch. The British Standards Institution have recorded that 26 percent of users move from a “find it” page to Kitemark.com when searching for local garages or bodyshops.

Scott Hanney, BSI’s Business Development Manager said: “Kitemark.com will continue to evolve as we make refinements and upgrades as well as refreshing content to reflect activities and consumer interests in the coming months. In a challenging economic climate where garages and bodyshops need to be more competitive, the Kitemark undoubtedly helps them differentiate themselves from the competition.”
