LKQ Euro has added Iris Coatings and five UK distributors of paint and body shop supplies in its latest acquisition.
The group who owns Euro Car Parts, has finally concluded the deal that sees them take a 100 percent shareholding in Iris Coatings, a sales and marketing specialist for refinishing distribution.
LKQ Euro has also taken JCA Coatings, Milton Keynes Paint and Equipment (MKPE), Sinemaster Motor Factors, Bee Bee Refinishing Supplies Halstead and Premier Paints.
The acquisition sees 26 new locations added nationwide and a reorganisation within the company, as JCA’s Richard Steer will become Managing Director of LKQ Euro Paint and Refinish. Sinemaster’s Mark Leeming and Justin Elliot of MKPE both take up new roles as Directors of Paint and Refinish.
Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, Managing Director of LKQ Euro Ltd, said: “Among the fastest growing businesses in their sector, these acquisitions represent an important step in our goal to continue to deliver the strongest value proposition enabling the collision repair industry, insurance companies and consumers to receive high quality products and exceptional service at competitive prices.
“With the addition of paint to the LKQ Euro portfolio, we are now able to provide almost all products a repairer would require to complete any mechanical or collision repair.
“Euro Car Parts has revolutionised the car maintenance and repair market by being unbeatable on price, delivery, quality and support. LKQ Euro is now about to do the same for refinish paint.”
