New sailing challenge launched in aid of BEN

by

Automotive-Challenge-CupThe automotive charity BEN has launched a new competition for 2015 called the Automotive Challenge Cup.

The event will see a number of teams competing against each other in a sailing race event, on June 18 at Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club. The contest-taking place is the ideal opportunity to promote team building, networking and entertaining new clients or existing customers.

The event will see each team compete on a matching fleet of boats, and see each team learning the ropes before racing against the others, with organisers Sunsail Events donating £500 to BEN for each boat entered.

Kelly Neal, BEN’s Events and Exhibitions Manager said: “We are very excited at BEN to promote an event with a difference. Sailing as a team is a wonderful way to network with others in our industry, advertise your company and, helping our industry colleagues finding difficulty with day to day challenges at the same time.“

Michael Hlavaty, Account Manager at Sunsail Events, added: “We are really looking forward to the launch of the Automotive Challenge Cup and the opportunity to help a deserving charity by raising awareness and funds through the novelty of an event on water, not on the road. The industry is in a great place to really embrace the event and hopefully we will see plenty of boats entering the regatta, making it a great success.”

For £1895, entrants will get a dedicated skipper and first mate, breakfast and afternoon tea, lunch on-board, clothing, plus professional race management for a maximum of 10 people per yacht.
