The Parts Alliance has created a partnership with the Independent Motor Trade Factors Associated Limited (IFA) to help increase the group’s national footprint.
The agreement sees the IFA become a key supply partner, which will see its 80 members working together with The Part Alliance’s 160 locations nationwide to provide a uniform approach to retain and maintain national account accounts.
Chief Executive of The Parts Alliance Peter Sephton, said: “The IFA is well-established and respected within our industry, sharing similar values and ethics to the Parts Alliance, where we are both committed to supplying quality products to market, delivering outstanding customer service and are easy to deal with.”
Steve Parker, General Manager of the IFA, added: “Everyone knows the aftermarket is changing and staying ahead needs bold thinking. Through working closely together there will be benefits for both organisations and our customers.”
Sephton also said that there are plans to expand The Parts Alliance’s network to more than 330 locations with the group currently exploring various options, including acquisitions, although further partnerships may not be out of the question.
