This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show was a great opportunity for the automotive aftermarket to show the commercial sector what it has to offer.
Ring Automotive was one of the exhibitors at the show, and it went the extra mile by not only hosting one stand but two, which was a seminar area.
On its main stand in Hall 5 of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, Ring focused on the conversion market, by displaying a full range of products, including its new Pure Sine Wave inverters.
Richard Morley, Business Unit Director Trade at Ring, said: “By having a visualisation of a van, visitors were able to understand what products we supply and how they fit within the Vehicle Conversion market.
“The real positive was that a majority of the enquiries from this stand were interested in a range of products, not just one or two specific items.”
Ring also held a number of seminars, which gave visitors the opportunity to learn about CV bulb performance and technology.
It gave Ring the chance to highlight some of the issues recently raised in VOSA’s report, which indicates that 30 percent of failures in HGV MOTs is down to headlamp misalignment.
Nick Cameron, Marketing Director at Ring, added: “All those that attended realised that a bulb is not just a bulb and that by selecting Ring’s 24v TruckMaster bulb programme they could achieve economies of scales and ensure drivers adhere to the standards of the Operator Compliance Risk Score. We now have a lot of promising leads to follow up.”
